About Hamburger King
George Macsas opened for business in 1927, Hamburger King sold large hamburgers for 5 cents apiece, extra-large for 10 cents. Hamburger King's wide ranging menu includes Chicken Fried Steak, Fish Dinners, Frito Chili Pie, Stew, Chili (in season).
But, our mainstay is our classic old-fashioned burger. On the classic grill, big, thick patties sizzle their way to perfection. Bun and burger are dressed with chosen garnishments and are put together to provide a feast like none other. The result is a classic lunch-counter hamburger: the bun is lightly toasted providing that slight crusty texture that blends perfectly with the contrasting smoothness of the lettuce, tomato, and pickle that it envelopes. Add your choice of condiments to complete the ensemble!
Our tables are each equipped with a direct phone line to the kitchen for you to place your order. On the walls are pictures that display the history of Hamburger King and Oklahoma.
